The refrigerator runs fine, Ice maker is great, plenty of room, Fresh water works great. It's not loud, I would recommend this refrigerator to a friend.

Always Issues And Parts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Built our house in Aug 2016, the refrigerator, microwave, stove and dishwasher were all installed. Not even three months we had issues with water and ice, changed the filter and then four months later more issues with ice maker jamming and ice continue to keep making instead of stopping. Called repairman out and he suggested yet another filter and to change the freezer settings. Not even three months later same issues and now ice is small and not freezing correctly. Again changed filter and this time changed water regulator valve. Then ice maker will not crush ice, so yes again with a repairman and had to change out auger and now here we are again ice not full cubes and jamming and water flowing into ice bin and ice falling all into freezer. Yet again changed filter and still acting stupid. This is not the only Frigidaire you guys have made junk.. The oven has been awful too... NEVER BUY FRIGIDAIRE- JUNK JUNK JUNK and more and more money spent to never find a real fix. I would love to send this back and you use it and see how it feels to waste money on a defective product

Icemaker makes a knocking sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my fridge NEW in July 2016. The icemaker is noisy as it does make a knocking sound when the ice cube tray teeth are in the process of tilting to dump ice into the bin. I had to replace the water filter in December 2016 only after 5 months of use. Also, my fridge starting make a loud humming sound coming from the motor or compressor. Very loud as if a lawn blower is running. I will be in contact with your customer service department to request my fridge be repaired. I just hope that I can stand to keep putting up with this loud sound that as of yet, 30 minutes in has not stopped yet! The only fridge I have so I have to tolerate the sound so my food will not perish.

This is absolutely not the experience we wish upon any of our consumers. On an average family of 4, we recommend replacing the water filter every 4-6 months based on usage. States like Georgia, have hard water and the filter may need changing a bit more often. This would impact ice production negatively. Most new refrigerators are designed to save energy. They are equipped with low energy consumption fans and compressors. These refrigerators will run most of the time and only stop when a defrost cycle is needed to thaw ice buildup in the freezer. Modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. You can find more information about the normal sights and sounds you will experience with your refrigerator on page 24 of your Owner’s Manual. If the sounds you are hearing are not addressed, or you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reconnect with us directly. Dave48484848, thank you for sharing your refrigerator experience. You can turn off your ice maker to keep it from overfilling, and dropping ice into your freezer. Open the access door at the top of your ice maker bin, lift the wire signal arm until it clicks and locks in the up or off position (see page 21 in your Owner’s Manual for picture and more information). Lives up to expectation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for about a month and have no complaints. The noises it makes (i.e.: ice making and dropping into the ice bin) is mentioned in the literature supplied and is no different from the last fridge we had with an ice maker.The large size means we have lots of room - no buying groceries according to how much room is left to fit things into it. I gave it 4 stars because I believe 5 stars is perfection and that is hard to achieve.

Good value for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge because it was a decent size and a decent price! I've had it for about three months, and the only negatives I can think of so far are that it is kind of loud and the ice maker has to be manually turned off when the bin is full, otherwise it keeps running until it overflows. That isn't that big of a deal for m though, because I don't use the ice very much anyway. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and I hope this fridge lasts a long time!
