[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great untill about 5 months the ice maker broke! It makes ice but does not disperse ice! Very disappointed!!! I guess you get what you pay for!

Disappointed 88, I apologize for any frustration and inconvenience this matter may have brought to you. If your ice maker is making ice (there is ice in the bin), and you still get water from the dispenser, your dispenser may be jammed. Ice must be used on a regular basis to help move the ice forward in the bucket. The auger (metal spiral bar in the bottom of the bin) can freeze in place when the ice dispenser is not used often. Please press the crushed ice option on the control panel. Continuously press down the dispenser paddle for 2 minute intervals (Releasing the paddle and then pressing the paddle again) for a total of 3 times (6 minutes total). This will melt and evaporate any ice around the auger motor shaft and enable ice to be dispensed again. I failed to return the refrigerator in the specified time, which I regret. Since I got the refrigerator I have had to have the thermostat recalibrated and service to see why the door is so hard to open. I also am very disappointed in the ice dispenser. you have to use a very wide mouthed glass or the ice splatters over the glass and makes a mess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice refrig if everything worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let the ice maker fill the tub and emptied the bin as per the installers instructions. Let the bin fill again and tried to dispense some ice, motor sounds like it wants to work but nothing comes out....

Love my new Refrigerator

We had a much more expensive Kenmore brand that broke after only a few years. This refrigerator is big and spacious and the ice maker and water dispenser are simple without all the fancy buttons. It's perfect....
