Simple, Reliable & Affordable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new purchase is a replacement for an almost identical refrigerator that gave us over 20 years of good service. We chose this basic model because it does everything we require and it is very cost effective. And we also like the deeper shelves - more space for larger items. If the ice making system were more quiet we would have given a 5-Star rating.

Make too much noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this fridge for a couple of months. The ice maker makes so much noise it wakes me up in the middle of the night. The ice gets stuck I guess and makes a clicking noise until it drops sometimes it wil click for 30 seconds or more. VERY LOUD! Other than that I guess it's ok.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hate to hear about your icemaker experience, Taker. It sounds like your icemaker is working as designed. The clicking sound that you're hearing is part of your refrigerator's automatic defrost control turning the unit on and off. I recommend checking your Owner's Manual (page 24) for your refrigerator's normal operating sounds. Good, but not the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is decent and performs as it is suppose to. I had an issue with the water/ Ice part and had to order/pay for a new part. Additionally, although there are no issues with performance the freezer door seems to protrude out further than the refrigerator door. Overall the unit serves its purpose, but does have a couple flaws.

working great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was a gift from my son for Christmas, the saleslady talked him into buying the bigger refrigerator than the counter depth model I was hoping for so we are a little cramped but the ice maker works great, and there is lots of room. It is noisy with creaking and popping noises all the time, but we have gotten used to that

Basic simple WORKS!
