disappointment!

We have had this refrigerator for less than five years. For about the past 8 months the freezer has ice in bottom of freezer and also water leaks onto the floor. Can you help us solve this problem?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It Appears to Keep Things Cold, for Now.

he first thing you will notice when you un-box the unit is that the fit and finish look like something done by a High School sheet metal shop. We won't even go into the dents, bends and touched up paint that doesn't match, straight outta the box. The door top and bottom outer face wrap joints do not even have a wipe of silicone to cover the poorly done seam work. You can level the doors easily but were they center mate to each other is a disaster. The freezer door is actually 3/32" thinner than the fridge door. The front control panel is supposed to make you think that the switch controls are a fine film switch, WRONG. They are mechanical switches with a cheap cover plastic made to look like film switches. Basically if you care little about the appearance factor of the unit to your kitchen decor than this will work for you. On the plus side the bays are roomy and while there is NO shelf adjustment in the freezer the fridge side does allow for good customization. The door shelves are fixed at what Frigidaire deemed "ideal" so make it fit. I did take a look and was surprised to find a name brand compressor was installed in the unit, same brand as my just replaced 18 yr old unit had so I have heart in a fairly long life. Overall, this is a mid-level rental unit refrigerator at best. Value for dollar spent is just dollar for dollar with nary a spiff to be had. My title says it best as far as I'm concerned; "It appears to keep things cold, so far."

SUPER Noisy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a nice refrigerator except for the fact that is is SUPER NOISY! We laugh at it because if we didn't we'd go nuts, but others may find it very annoying. Had we have known about the noise issue we wouldn't have bought it.

Perfect for what we needed!

The only issue is that it is a bit noisy when it is making new ice. Our kitchen is not too close to our living room so it is not really an issue for us.

Bought this recently. No complains, runs quiet, but wish it had a deli and meat drawer. I looked but did not find where i could order at least a deli drawer.
