Should have bought this years ago!

This backup UPS is just what I was looking for this week. I had an old one from the 1990's that I have been milking along till it finally gave out and it wasn't worth trying to fix. This UPS brought my family into the 21st century. Definitely would recommend.

Immediate battery charging failure

A brand new unit does not charge the battery. In fact, from the approximate 25% in-factory charge, the battery drained to 0% within 12 hours while being connected to 126V as reported by the unit's display. After using numerous units in the last two decades, I expected equally great performance from APC products. However, after reading similar stories on Amazon, I decided to post my experience here as well. APC we know you can do better than this!
