Wonderful Product

I am thrilled with this washer/dryer combo! I have thoroughly read the directions on how to use it properly. I think many of the negative reviews are a result of not carefully reading the instructions. Yes, it works best if smaller loads are done. Yes, sometimes clothes come out a bit damp. I prefer this to over-dried, overly wrinkled garments. I shake items out and hang them up for a bit to finish the drying process. No big deal to me. My clothes are being treated more gently than with a top loading washer. They are coming out cleaner, with less soap residue, and require less cleaning products. This machine needs less water. A regular household wall outlet is all that is required. No venting is required either. The mildew issue has not been an issue for me. I leave the warm machine door open once I take all clothes out. I empty the dispenser drawer of any left-over liquid. I empty the water from the drain line. Once the machine has cooled down and evaporation seems to have done it's job, I put everything back together and walk away. We are an empty-nest family of 2 now and I find this a wonderful product for this stage of our life!

Amazing machine

I'm thrilled with this unit. I read a lot of reviews online before purchasing, and one individual in particular explained that any dissatisfied users were probably not using the unit properly. I learned to carefully select the wash cycle, set it to dry for longer rather than shorter times, and I get awesome results. Being ventless, no dryer sheets are needed because no static results. My clothes and linens are soft, not baked, and not worn down by the heat of the drying process - again, ventless. Couldn't be happier. And because it's an all-in-one, the closet where this unit is installed is still 50% usable.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: small apartment too noisy to run overnight

i live in an apt and this thing is great i normally load it to the max and it takes about 5 hours to finish when i fold the clothes it take a basket and a half if your gonna hook it to your sink get the lg mobile kit comes with a nice quick release for the faucet very handy and as far as the clothes not drying reviews the clothes do feel damp when you take take them out but shake em and the steam evaporate i know it amazing they are suddenly dry. i work in a greasy factory and my clothes are way cleaner than going to the laundrymat more conv too

Space saving super-cleaning machine!

Saves space. Cleans better than my previous front loading machine. My favorite thing is not having to move laundry from washer to dryer. The delivery guy asked why we only bought a washer since the box said 'washer' on it. We convinced him this appliance did both. I'm not sure he believed us. I'm here to tell you, some things are true whether you believe them or not! This machine is amazing. It does produce quite a bit of heat. We're going to install an exhaust fan to shed some of the heat in the laundry closet.

Better the 2nd time around

This washer and dryer combo is excellent. This is my second unit. Due to my family increase and we finally purchased a house. We bought this product. It's been over two months that we have had this and I get excited every time the clothes have to be washed. The washing and drying time is much less then the older model. I can do a load in about 1.5 hours the older model would take 2.5 hours. The drum is much bigger, therefore I can do all of the colored or whites in one load. Not only that, the clothes come out bone dry. I love this machine and will pass down my old unit to my niece for her new apartment. I also, love the quietness and the energy efficiency of the product. You have to buy one of these to truly understand how convenience this unit it and how the world should say goodbye to the separate washer and dryer units.

Amazing performance, easy to use

My wife had been wanting an all-in one unit for some time. I had always been skeptical as to the drying capability of an all-in one unit. So we purchased an LG. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the unit performed. My skepticism soon disappeared. We have had the unit for about 5 months now and it has performed flawlessly. If you are on the fence about purchasing one of these units (as I was), I highly recommend getting one. It will surprise and amaze you at how well it works.

There is a learning curve to this machine...make sure to sort laundry by types of fabrics for optimum drying (towels & jeans won't dry as well if done with t-shirts). Other than that, it does wonderful. It's true the laundry still feels wet when taken out, but just shake it and it is dry. Must have to get the steam off it. You will also learn how long to dry for each type of fabric load. Also, don't overload or you will be drying all day. Other than that it's a snap. I really like that I don't have to remember to move the laundry from the washing machine to the dryer, one less step.
