It was perfect until..

I bought this washer around 4 years ago, and its been doing well until it mysteriously stopped turning on. I've checked the outlet and it seems to be an internal problem with the washers power system. Is there any way I can fix this without breaking the bank?

Why Did They Discontinue?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so disappointed they discontinued this machine - I loved it. Unfortunately, it's time for a new one and I don't want a wi-fi enabled replacement. Everyone I talk to has no interest in "smart" and wi-fi enabled appliances - why can't LG service both markets. They're losing a lot of customers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is great to not have to move my clothes into a dryer it does that for you. However the full drying cycle does take about 4 hours to complete. They need to shoeten the complete cycle,

Lots of repairs but we had an extended warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine has broken 4 times. It can not handle lint. You have to manually disconnect a door at the bottom of the machine, drain the water and clean out the lint. Even after doing this the motor continued to break.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ppreciate thefact tht this HE front loading machine uses less water but feel that my prbevious nonHE washer did a better job at getting clothes clean (especially whites). I love the different cycle choices and especially like the way it spins so dry that I thought at first clothes had not been washed. I do wipe it down after each wash day to try and prevent any odor build up, but after 6 months use, I have purchased something to remove an odor that is starting. I also find it tricky to select alternative water temperatures other than those automatically chosen with the cycle seletion. You have to start the machine and then pause it in order to change the pre-selected settings.
