So much lint WTF???
on February 7, 2020

from Los Angeles
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every time I dry a load it comes out covered in lint. I’ve tried cleaning the lint out of the machine with a rag like the directions suggest, but it’s trapped in areas that I can’t get to... Whoever designed this product should be fired.

Lint and other objects may accumulate and clog the drain pump filter. Open the drain pump filter access panel. Unclip the drain hose and pull it out. Place the end of the drain hose in a pan, bucket, or floor drain to catch water. Remove the plug from the drain hose, and allow the water to drain completely. Twist the pump filter counterclockwise to remove. Remove any lint and foreign objects from the pump filter. Reverse the above steps to reinstall the drain pump filter and drain hose. Be sure to close the cover panel when finished.

Washer okay. Dryer terrible!
on September 3, 2012

I've had the most frustrating, horrible experience with this washer/dryer combo. When you set the dryer cycle, it puts 5 hours on the timer. I thought it would be faster than that, but it really does take the whole cycle time and sometimes clothes are not even dry after that. When cycle is finally finished clothes are steaming hot and wrinkle the moment you take them out. Recently the dryer stops in the middle of the cycle and has different errors codes on the display. I thought I fixed one, but it ran for a bit then displayed a different error. My sheets are sitting in a puddle of water right now, and I can't figure this out. I do not recommend this product!

I hate this miserable washer-dryer! DON'T BUY!!!

(This is a review I wrote a little over a month ago for Compact Appliance website. Now, a month later, I hate this washer-dryer even more. One of the worst purchases I've ever made.)
Disappointed after several months' use September 28, 2012 I really hate this washer/dryer combo. If I outlive it, I'll never buy another one of these. It leaves lint balls all over my laundry. Being a 120-volt appliance, the drying cycle takes HOURS. This one really fries me: there is no independent drying option!!!!! You must go through an entire wash/dry cycle to get any drying at all. Several cycles have no drying option. Be very careful with your loads: they must be of all one sort (e.g., don't mix clothes and terrycloth towels) to achieve proper drying. The unit is noisy and vibrates noticeably when each spin starts. I bought this unit because I had too little space even for a stacked washer and dryer, and because my mobile home had no 220-volt power. If I had it to do over, I'd have 220-volt power put in and have an apartment-size pair, separate washer and dryer, installed side by side.
Pros: terrible product

I want a refund

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea of saving space was appealing but we spent twice as much time drying loads which backed up our laundry schedules. I broke down and purchased a dryer but I'm still stuck with this washer that I have to DRAIN... who does that? I really want my money back and a regular washer.

Greatest invention

This unit is perfect for apartments and limited space areas. I have a faucet adaption set and the washer is on a dolly so I can roll it up the kitchen sink and wash and dry on a 120 voltage outlet. It efficient, and is gentle on clothes. Because of the drying system and front loading feature, colors stay more intact; no more fading. When I'm done, I unhook it from the faucet, unplug the unit and roll it away for the next time I use it. Average load takes approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours. It does take a little longer because it dries using 120v not 220v. But then again, that cuts on electricity costs.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, efficiency, economical

Love this Combo W/D

I saw this type of W/D on House Hunters Int'l and started looking for it in the US. I needed something smaller for my tiny laundry room. I love that it doesn't need vented and it plugs into a regular outlet. LG has cornered the market! My clothes have never felt better and my husband and I feel it is the best appliance we've ever bought! We rave about it to our family and friends. If I ever decide to move, I am taking it with me!
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Love my all in one washer/dryer

We live in a condo and bought this washer/dryer combo about 4 months ago to replace an old stackable washer and dryer. We love this combo. It does take a little while to figure it out and your clothes come out steamy but dry. It works better than our stackable washer and dryer ever did. Clothes come out very clean and the wash cycle seems to uses less water. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking to replace a stackable washer dryer.
