Confusing

We purchased this for my 5 yr old and the instructions were very weak. We cannot figure how to work it so that it is educational or engaging at best. I would not recommend this game as it is kinda boring. She received the Explorer with this game, so for a novice to Explorer, it is confusing.
Pros: Not engaging enough
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Game for a Ni Hao Kai Lan fan

My daughter is almost 4 and she loves this game. She figured it out by herself and has its her new favorite game. Since it goes all the way through addition and subtraction she should be able to get atleast another year out of it before her skill level is too high. It has a lot of cute features like having Kai Lan tickle the sun.
Pros: Educational, Fun for kids, Grows with child, Good for on-the-go play

My son absolutely loves this app! NiHao Kilan has never failed to be educational, emotional, and engaging. This is by far his favorite app on his LeapPad!
Pros: Educational, Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child

My son is a BIG Kai-lan fan and had been bugging me for a leap pad game with her! :-) Finally I purchased this one and he LOVES it! He loves making the dumplings, singing the songs and just enjoys playing with it anywere and everywhere! If your child is a Kai-lan fan, this one is for you!
Pros: Fun for kids

None of the items i purchased will imstall. It downloads updates but not my purchases. Very frustrating.
