Well, I bought this same model a year ago and a few weeks ago I found it with an error message that I couldn't get rid of. I called Epson for help and after trying a few things the Epson person told me that it needs to be sent or taken to be fixed at my cost because it was after the warranty was up. Anyways, I decided to buy a new one of the same model because I had recently bought a few packages of ink that i didn't want to waste. Then, after a few days, it started working again right before I got this new one that I will be keeping as a spare. Tricky little rascal.

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to install. I thought I would have to get my son to do it but he told me to try and it went very good.

I'm happy with everything, expcept the Auto document feeder. It is very tempermental. It won't feed 24LB paper, which most everything is now. I like Epson products, but this is a deal breaker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Workforce 520!

Even though my wife and I choose to live a retired life of RVing, having a wireless printer has made our electronic life so nice. I can only imagine how handy it would come in for someone living in a huge brick & stick home. Between the drivers and utilities, and its unfailing operation, there's nothing we can't do with my PC and my wife's laptop.

Great for the price

I did ALOT of shopping around and finally settled on this printer. The ink is by far the cheapest and I love the fact that if one color runs out I don't have to replace all of the colors. I have this printer set-up over WIFI and love that I can print from any of my PC's. I recently downloaded an epson printer app for my driod phone. Also, set-up was easy. I wanted a few months to check out the printer before I posted, I made a great choice! Buy it and you will too.

Just installed EPSON520

Installing was a snap. For Windows7 Professional it downloaded afew files from EPSONSEIKO website. I used a temporary USB connection for wireless setup.The entire aetup (fax,utility etc) was very smooth.Printed out the test page also.Tomorrow will print text from Word.In about a week will put a detailed review.

First time using the product, and I'm impressed; worked at the copy center of a university, and have twenty-three years of professional information technology experience; so, well versed with copiers, and I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of printers in a variety of situations; this little guy has power, functionality, technological innovation, and, to top it off, simplicity. Nice product.

It does pretty much everything better than the average. For photos/scans it definitely beats all competitors in that class...highly recommended for home or small business use.....
