Ease in set up most important and this 520 was...it did take longer for download but after that no problem..since i just got it i will review the performance later

Excellent printer. Set up was fast and easy. No difficulties with setting up WIFI connection. Had a another printer from a different company and had problems with wireless printing on many occasions. Great price also.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Compatability Issues

Good printer, features WiFi but software shipped with unit not compatabile with Windows 7. Not an easy install - I would have purchased another printer had I known this

As a senior citizen and quite competent techy, I had trouble Identifying the appropriate opening to put the USB connection into. A Bit of contrast
markings would be very helpful.
When installing, I had very little idea what the additional items were that were offered to be installed.. There was no telling what they were explicitly until after choosing to install.
Overall the installation was very straightforward and do able. Except, I still don't have the blank paper holder fully extended. Perhaps on another day. G. Rose

This is my first wireless printer. Set up and connecting to my newly established network was very easy. The instructions are clear and the online guide is also useful. Inserting the ink is very easy. The quality of print and copy are excellent. The messages on the screen of the printer are easy to follow. I have not yet used the fax and scan but I expect no difficulty. It is a good initial experience.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My first WiFi unit. Not bad, not bad at all. The problem is that you have to know the SSID and password in order to hook up the wireless part. I guessed a few times and finally made some phone calls and was directed in the right path and found all the info I needed and now I am finally hooked up wireless. It's cool, I guess. The printer is a fast one, just like they claimed. It has a nice scanner and it has a fax machine in it too. The price is right, I even like the color of it. It uses 2 black ink cartridges at the same time. I think whomever buys this "All in One" printer will enjoy it. I can finally make room and get rid of the fax amchine I have been using and another printer I use that are both taking up too much space in my apartment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WorkForce 520 / 525 Series. All In One Printer

I have been a long time Epson printer customer. My first Epson 4 color printer lasted 12 years...I was EXTREAMLY happy with it. When it finally died ( Not without a fight ). I was so satisfied with it that I purchased a Epson WorkForce 500 All In One. I was very pleased with that as well. I really liked all the special features . Unfortunately it only lasted about 3 years. So with that I was disappointed . I have now purchased a WorkForce 520 / 525 Series. All In One Printer. Because of Reviews I read and Epson's reputation. I just purchased it today. It was very easy to hook up. I have not tried all the features yet. But it seems to be excellent so far. I'll need to work with it much more to give a more comprehensive review in the future . One thing I noticed right away was the LED didn't light up. Which makes it a little difficult to read without direct light from another source..
