Easy Setup, Printing Horrible

I bought this printer as a replacement/backup printer, and was very impressed with the easy setup, even without the CD. When I started to print, the page came out blank, but that was fixed when I took out the starter cartridges and put them back in. After that, the blank ink would only print if I set my computer to best photo. It takes a long time, and the ink is still pretty faint. I did the interactive troubleshooting, but to no results. The colors print great, but this whole issue with the black ink is pretty frustrating. As a side note, you need two black ink cartridges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easier than I expected!

Technology has always been my husband's department, so imagine my apprehension at having to set up this printer myself. I did it in less than 20 minutes and it was much easier than I expected.

Fantastic Printer!!

The printer is easy to setup. I had no problems with it except, I had to go and purchase an U.S.B Cable connector, because it didn't come with one in the box. But overall this is the best printer to purchase. I would recommend it to anyone. This is the printer to buy.

This printer practically set itself up. Being a novice at geekism, I had no problem setting it up, installing the software and printing and scanning documents. As long as the ink cartridges remain readily available, I should be using this printer for years to come.
