So far, so good!

I had an Epson printer for years. I'd still be using it had I not done something stupid --
-- that at least presented me with the opportunity to purchase a newer model with more features.
I just got my new Epson printer this weekend. It was simple to set up and I immediately used it to print out almost 200 pages of a call list for a phone bank.
It performed without a hitch and did so at a much faster speed than I would have expected for a fairly low-priced printer.
I am confident that my choice to remain an Epson customer was a wise decision.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Bargain

Let me start by saying I'm no computer genius. I set my machine up wireless config. to be used with 2 laptops. I did experience a couple of initial glitches when I would try to scan to a laptop and the lcd screen was only allowing for a USB connection type transfer. I deleted all printer software & reloaded and no problems since. One tip I can offer is make sure all pc's you will use have different names so you can differentiate between them when selecting which one you want to send scanned items to. The print quality is very good and fast. I also like the feature allowing for files to be converted from say jpeg to pdf and the like. Coming from a printer only machine this does seem a bit bulky but considering al the features I feel the design uses every square inch to the fullest. I've only used it a day or so but feel it will be one of those items that before long I won't know how I lived without it. I highly reccomend it and also consider all ink colors are individual so no more throwing away a multi-color cartridge that was only low of one color ink. I guess the ultimate reccomendation is if I could switch for another machine right now I wouldn't even consider it.

I installed this printer on a regular computer and a laptop, wireless. It was easy to do considering I do not know alot about computers...

GOOD MACHINE

I'VE ONLY HAD THE MACHINE A WEEK SO I HAVEN'T HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO FULLY TEST IT. THE INSTALLATION ON MY NETWORK WAS A BREEZE, IV'E HOOKED IT UP TO THREE COMPUTERS IN MY HOUSE. IT PRINTS FINE AND SCAN IS EASY TO USE

My old all-in-one was old and only worked when it felt like it, so my dad replaced it with this one. It works well, but does not have some features that my last one offered so I was a little diappointed. My two major problems are that you can copy multiple, but you cannot scan multiple pages (I really would love a multi scan option) and that it is very slow. I'm guessing it is so slow because of the type of printing (the old one was ink jet), but I see no visible difference in the quality of the pictures so I am not satisfied.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NO SCANNER DRIVER

I CANT GET THIS THING TO SCAN FROM A CISCO WIRELESS ROUTER ... IT DOESNT HAVE A SCANNER DRIVE, I DOWNLOAD ONE FROM WEBPAGE .........STILL DOESNT WORK.

I have enjoyed my Workforce 520 thoroughly. The convenience of all in one is my highlight and I would and do recommend this printer to anyone that ask what in my opinion I think is the best.
