Easy install onto home wireless

Very impressed & pleased with this product - have 2: one for Kiddo @ university in the dorm room and second for the home which I just setup as our 7-1/2 year old Epson RX500 started to act its age and needed to be retired. Installation to home wireless was a breeze [Win-XP sp2; Netgear WNR1000v2] and kiddo's experience for past 6 months has been excellent. Also had an employee who used a WorkForce 3xx in his home office and it worked flawlessly, esp the scanning. So - I expect my very favorable experience with Epson products to continue.

Epson Workforce 520

I just purchased the Workforce 520 and love it! It takes a minute for the sleep feature to activate the printer, and it seems a bit noisy when receiving the print cue. But it's fast, faxes, scans, great color and prints perfect! I like the fact that it takes individual color cartridges. I would recommend it to a friend.

VERY LOUD!!!!

Setup was easy (including wireless) - decent functionality for the price (assuming it continues to work), print copies look high quality, but this is the LOUDEST PRINTER EVER....Really annoying.

Setup

The setup CD failed on 5 attemps to load the nextwork drivers necessary to connect to the wireless system. Tried to load the network ID and passphrase from the printer with success. Tried again to use the CD, failed to connect to the printer. Went to the Epson website, downloaded the software setup file and it finally worked. System didn't indicated what the error was only through printing the failed setup page locally could I determine that it was the pasphrase that wasn't being sent correctly, but the software never asked for the passphrase from me during setup, which I think was the overall problem in the first case.

I purchased my new Epson 520 series today, came home, followed the instructions and was able to set my printer for my desktop and my laptop. the instructions were super easy and office quality. The print quality on the test pages is amazing. I installed the option to print photos. can't wait to try it. Excellent product

Epson WorkForce 520

I purchased my all in one wireless Epson WorkForce 520 and set it up ASAP. I found the directions very easy to follow and the setup was very simple. Yes, it sounds a little louder than others I have owned but, it is more of a clacking sound that is very easy to get used to. Be flexible. This is this Epson's only drawback. Very inexpensive (I purchased on Sale). Easy for children to use.

Fast with good quality print. Install was made difficult until I down loaded a newer install package from the Epson site. From that point on it went like a breeze.

I only recently bought this printer but so far I would rate it as a best buy. It was relatively easy to set up and it works just fine.
