Good printer - great price

Overall, the Epson WorkForce 520 gave me tremendous value, and fully meets my printer requirements. I don't print photos at home, so photo quality is not an issue for me. The printer was extremely easy to set up and get going.
The only disappointment is the need for a USB cable to transfer scanned documents to my computer.

I have just installed the Epson 520 All-in-One, so of course it is working at its best. My initial impression is very positive. The print is fast and crisp, colour photocopies look as good as the original. I have tried the two-sided printing with a multi-page document, and although it does require that I remove the pages and inesrt them back into the paper reserve, it is a simple operatiion, the pages are inserted directly the way they come out without having to figure out the re-alignment.
The only minor complaint is the paper reserve, sitting perched at the back of the machine, rather than in a proper paper tray. The paper load for printing is a bit noisy, but the actual printing is quiet.
Overall, very pleased and would recommend this printer.

Just put the 520 through it's paces for the first time. Set-up was a snap. Have wi-fi set up and the 520 was ready to go, with out the usb cable I thought I would need for initial set-up. Glad I didn't need cable, I set-up in the evening and didn't have cable on hand. Might make life easier for those that don't have wi-fi if cable was included with package. Other than that, tried the scanning feature with a pretty complex photo. The color output was outstanding! I own a small business and was just looking for a basic printer for light duty work in my home office. I would highly recommend the 520, much more than I expected from a printer in it's price range.

I have to say this is probably the best piece of equipment I have ever invested in. I used to have to leave the house to make copies, receive faxes, now I have the comfort of having all that and more in my living room! Thanks Epson, great job!!
