Amazing Function & Quality for a pentance!

I'm no spring chicken and I remember when a copier was only at a few well to do businesses with deep pockets. Here we have a copier-fax-scanner-printer all in one. And above that it's wireless! We may not be flying in cars like the Jetsons but this is getting there
The printer set-up is lengthy,not plug-n-play but it is simple step by step right from your pc. It is fairly easy for a near novice like myself to use but it does help when scanning to email and the like to have some knowledge of the difference between a jpeg and pdf file format although even if you didn't I think by trial and error you would still get the job done. In fact a bonus in the software lets you convert files from one to the other to make them easier to sennnd and receive. I know the ink for this model is pricy but if you are a home user as am I buying the more expensive models with cheap ink refills doesn't matter if you only run out of black ink once a year. It's a great device for the money and if your looking to upgrade and go wireless on the cheap look no further.

great printer

i bought this printer a few months ago and was waiting to set it up until i had a friend who is a techy help me do it. im not very good at this kind of stuff and it finally got to the point where i could wait no longer and im sad i waited so long. it is by far the easiest thing i have ever set up! the instuructions were easy to read and described everything perfectly and the printer it self makes amazing documents. today i am going to get some photo paper and try that part out but if it is even half as good as color prints on regular paper i know they will be amazing! i LOVE that i can print things over the wireless network in my home and not have to worry about finding plugs and moving my laptop all over the house just to print one paper. i plan on setting my husbands laptop up tonight when he gets home from work since i now know i can do it all on my own without any issues :) great buy!! will deff tell everyone i know about this printer!

I absolutely love this product! It was a fast and easy set up. Very clear instructions and all of the features work great. Prints beautiful pictures, scans quickly and user friendly.

I rated the product a 3 star, not because of any problem, but because I just purchased it and have only printed a couple of pages. What I can say is this:
1. Setup, including wireless, is extremely easy and straight forward, just follow the directions. My wireless router is not password protected which simplify the procedure. Recommendation, to keep it the wireless setup easy, do not go beyond a step you do not understand until you get further information.
2. I have only printed a few pages in BW and I was very satisfied with the results.
3. After more use, the highest rating I would give this printer is 4 stars, why, the printer is noisy when feeding paper to be printed on. If you are using it at home and printing very little then it really isn't a problem.
One last piece of information to note, is that, the printer is being used with a Macintosh-OS 10.6i
I would recommend this to a friend!

Intially what attracted to me is that it has separate inks and that means and hope less spending on inks, but that is something that i'll know down the road.
The setup was easy. and am able to print scan and fax from any computer in my house.
The copies are sharp and crisp.
Have not tried to print pictures on photographic paper.
The only draw back that i see or rather hear is that its noisy when it prints or scans.

The direction for the printer said it is wireless but I have followered the direction from the manuel still it can't work as wireless. I am disapointed with the printer working condition.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
