Loading the software and updates EPSON 520/525 has been a nightmare. I have tried to scan one item by following the online instructions and it has locked up my pc everytime. I feel like I have loaded a virus into my pc by using this product. I have never been so disapointed in a product. Still never got my item scaned.

Seems like an ok light duty printer. I've only had it for a couple of days and have had no problems. Install was quite straight forward.
I wish it had a scan-to-email function for the Mac. This is a function that my previous aio had that is missing from this one. As it is simply a driver issue hopefully this oversight can be corrected. Also when scanning to file there are little options as to where it is filed. At least so far I haven't been able to figure it out and have resorted to dragging the scanned file from the desktop to the appropriate folder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I needed to replace a printer in order to address envelopes. I hooked up this printer and had no trouble addressing the envelopes. What a difference. My old printer would print four envelopes with three looking like little fans and one I could use. I'm going to enjoy using my new printer.

This printer is still new and have only used it a few times..But I have used all the features more than once. I tell you what it is a HOSS! It faxed VERY quick..Was REALLY easy to set up and BOY will it copy AND print in a hurry....Holds 5 cartridges! 2 blacks! It's VERY much a great printer and would recommend it to the good lord himself if he needed a printer.

Surprisingly easy set up

Ijust got my multi-function printer a few days ago. I've been putting off setting it up because the last multi-function I purchased is about eight years old. Well I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. Just follow the easy on-screen set up and I am printing in a different room than the one I am working in, isn't wireless great, and Epson makes it at such a reasonable price even I could afford it. Believe me I checked on the internet and in stores and I got the best deal and the sharpest printing with my Epson 520 Work Force.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this device so far! I did have to skip the fax setup in the setup wizard and I am currently on the phone with Epson trying to get this figured out. This is most likely an issue of not understanding the "fax modem" part of the setup now that I am back to attempt to set this aspect up. Otherwise, it is already vividly apparent how much better this machine is going to make my daily duties and tasks flow so much better!
Planning to buy this exact machine for my home as a Christmas present to myself as a matter of fact!

I received the 520 in about three days from the time I ordered it. It was extremely easy to set up and start working and the instructions are easy to understand and the machine itself is easy to use.The 520 is very compact and nice looking. It replaced a separate printer, scanner and fax machine, which leaves me plenty of room on my desk.
I would recommend this to a friend!
