Setup and Connecting Problems

Overall rating for setup and connecting wireless is TERRIBLE. I expect the instructions for setup to be easy and installation fun. Setup for this machine is terrible. When I hit "install" I expect the entire installation to occur without any input from me. I do not want to sit in front of my computer for one hour selecting this or that option, the whole time not knowing if my setup is going as expected or if some wire or wires are not correctly connected. Further, I would want to know that my Netgear wireless has made contact with my Epson printer and if not what I should do. This setup is horrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ease of Connection

I found the software installation and wireless network connection one of the easiest I have used. Thumbs up for the software writers. Before I purchased my unit, I checked online reviews of this product and came to the conclusion that the WorkForce 520 was the best fit for my intended use and the money expended.
I would recommend this to a friend!

reading reviews before I purchased this printer people commented on it being loud or noisy. It isn't that bad. Also that the ink ran out quickly. The pop-up on the ink level would pop-up and show empty cartridges and ask if I want to buy ink. The cartridges were not empty and eventually the pop-up showed the correct ink levels. The ink is not too expensive. It was an easy set up and for the price you are getting a good printer/fax.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The printer itself is wonderful! However setting up the printer to connect to my network wirelessly was difficult. I ended up plugging my printer into my network with a cable just I could print over a network.
I would recommend this to a friend!
