Only one glitch . . .

Works perfectly for copies and printing (both color and b/w), but after the All-in-One printer has been kept on for a while, it won't perform the scan function easily. I usually have to turn it off, then back on, and then start the scan process.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good, but wish generic ink was available

I bought this on sale and for the price overall it is a great printer. Works both wireless and connected and has been able to do everything I've wanted it to with no issues. The only drawback is that it has to use Epson Ink cartridges which are more expensive than the generics. Wish there was a generic ink available that would work in it but as of yet I haven't found one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The product works well and has a lot of functionality for a basic printer/fax/scanner. Also, Epson is great about honoring its warrantee; when I had a problem with the first printer, Epson sent me a new one the next day. However, both printers printed slightly crooked on the page and the paper feed leaves a lot to be desired. It is hard to get the paper into the feed so that it feeds straight and it does not take a lot of paper. Also, like many printers of its kind, it goes through ink like crazy and printer ink recyclers do not recycle these cartridges.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Truly a reliable workhorse with reasonable functionality. Excellent printer performance, scanning has sufficient alternatives to meet most needs. Can't be beat for the price.

Looked at a number of printer, fax, scan and copy equipment. The epson 520 fit my needs at less cost than most of the other choices. I'm not tech, however the 520 does what I need with little effort on my part.

For the price, this is a great value. Does everything I need an very high quality output. My only issue is that Epaon doesn't update the wireless driver for Mac OS and I'm forced to use the Epsom platform.
