Nice features but they mean nothing when the fact that the quality of the prints are among some of the worst I've ever seen. Reminds me of the prints from the printers of the late 80's early 90's.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is a really good printer for the money. I just wish that it was easier to change the dark/light color and enlargement process. I always have to read the book which takes too long.

Printer Disappointment

The printer does produce a good quality print. The colors are sharp and clear. However, I have been disappointed in several aspects. I find it difficult to get the paper into the feeder at times and have problems with paper jams. On occasion the scanning function will lose the connection with the printer and I will have to initiate the scanning from the computer instead of doing it from the printer.
I have to turn off the Auto Receive function for the fax because it grabs voice calls as well as fax calls and sometimes causes interference with voice calls.
Often when trying to print double-sided I get an error message about multi-feed errors and I have press 'OK' for each page to be printed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fairly easy to use. Make sure you put paper in holder correctly. Can jam very easy. I would recommend getting the 126 cartridges, can use up ink easy.

i have had my Epson 520 for about a year. it does most function very well. it copies, scans, etc but when it come to faxing, it really falls short. It double loads paper that you are trying to fax and it will not clear an error. i have to turn it off to reset once an error occurs. the cancel or stop clear button doesn't do anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Printer

The printer was very good quality, easy to use. Unfortunately, the printer did not survive the mauling a friend of mine gave it one night and the printer had to be sent to its final resting place. We now own a Epson XP-600.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A little hard to navigate first time user.
Problem occurs, probably due to user error.
All problems have been resolved over telephone.

This does the job

This is used for my merchandising business, and it has always "come through". It drinks ink, I think. I have never used it to print pictures, so I cannot expound upon that portion of the activity for which this is to be so great. A very good (and large) printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
