My All in One Printer is so hot, it does everything, is fast, prints awesome in color and black and white. I love how it picks right up on the faxes, and scanning is easy as pie. This is a supurb product

520 All-In-One is Great

My Workforce 520 is the best printer I have ever owned plus, it is a super scanner & copier (and fax, which I don't use). The wireless/usb/ethernet capability is really handy & flexible - and all three work fine. Setup is a little slow and touchy, and scan feature requires a very-occasional reload (probably Windows fault), but this is a minor inconvenience. This product is so pleasing that I am buying my wife one today.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy trouble-free setup

Set up was remarkably easy. In particular, the printer connected wirelessly to all my computers (PC and Mac) totally fault free. The colors and printing are accurate and bright even on generic paper. This is my 3rd Epson and I have had no problems with any of them. I am more than satisfied with this printer. There was an initial on-line billing error but Epson promptly corrected the issue. Can't comment on the fax functions since I have not yet used them but I anticipate few problems. For an all-in-one, the printer is surprisingly fast.

Had no experience with Epson but saw it on sale and figured it was worth a try. Ended up returning after 4 weeks. Maybe printed 20 pages with light home use. Paper jammed at least half the time. Black ink was 50% gone. Not user friendly.

Reliability was my issue

Had the 520 for 15 months - it failed outside the warranty and could not be repaired. Scanner cable detached from the gears - no scanning or copying. Previous operation was OK: printed fast, wireless connection good, scanner & copier good (when the scanner worked), fax - not good with VOPI telephone (can't you make that work)? Ink use high. Needs a longer warranty to flush out the bugs!

Not a bad machine, have had it for about a year, with no problems. I just set it up for my new laptop ( wireless ) took a while but it works like a dream.
Good machine for the money. Great college printer.
