Easy setup and good quality

I just picked up the Epson WorkForce 520. In 15 minutes I have it hooked up to my network, laptops and ipads all working well. I installed an application from itunes to use airprint and it was easy and successfull for the ipad 2. Good purchase, great price, very nice quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good all-around printer

This is my second Workforce 520. Unfortunately the first fell off a desk. I am very pleased with the Workforce 520. I print a lot of glossy pictures, some of which are published and find that thew quality of the 520 exceeds what most people expect from an economical printer. It is fairly fast and ink consumption is not unreasonable. Too bad that this will be my last 520, but by the time it wears out I'm sure they will no longer be available. A good product that gives better than good results.

High ink cost

basically is good except scanned text cannot be manipulated/changed. The initial low cost of the printer is seriously offset by the cost of cartridges, which up to this date is only available through Epsom
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm no sure why so many given this negative review for setup. I did the wireless setup for the printer on laptop with windows 7, Windows XP and Apple IPAD 2 less than 45 mins.
The IPAD will print if you download the free Epson iprint from the Apple app store.

I've not tested the ink life span yet as we just print less than 10 pages now. will update on this later.

I have not really used all the features of the printer yet -- BUT-- the fact that I was able to install it was fabulous. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Thank you for that!

since the day I purchased this device I have had nothing but trouble faxing..when making copies it is extremely noisy............this is the worst all-in-one I have ever owned!!!
