True Love Again

I've had Epson Printers for years and have literally worn them out. This past time, I bought an All-in-One that was NOT an Epson - Big mistake, I've had brand X for less than a year and decided to ditch it and go back to Epson.
I love the freedom that the scanner gives you. If you simply want to scan something, just press a button but if you have specific needs, you can control your dpi, color, etc in the professional mode.
I also love the color saturation in the printing - Brand X did NOT have that from day one. The colors are spectacular even on plain paper with my Epson. I would recommend the Epson Stylus NX420 to any hobbyist or small based business, it produces a great quality print.

NX420 printer/scanner

I cannot get it to save a scanned document to my PC. It says it's hooked up properly, and I'm reading the manual correctly. Grrrr. It opens Windows Explorer as if it's going to save it, but there is no naming capability, it only opens Explorer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this is a great printer i bought it about two weeks ago and everything is perfect even prints out 4*6 pictures in an amazing way i never seen a printer actually print picture perfect pics i extremelyreccomendate this all in one epson dont let the brand fool you and dont judge a printer by its box

This printer was so easy to set up. Hopefully you have the USB connection for it because it doesn't come with it but it is necessary to make the connection and then you set up the wireless.

Install is problematic?

The install disk for a Windows 7 64bit is useless. Why not update the disk, it's over a year old. Would save a lot of time in the install process.
Other than that great printer.
I have had 8-10 Epson's and would recommend them to anyone.

like the product but its too bad I couldn't find a phone number to call for tech support about drivers and down loads... I had computer trouble and re-set to factory settings now I can't re-download my printer...no cd.

Download drivers for wireless

I really like this printer and you certainly can't beat the price, but I did have a problem installing the drivers using my wireless network at home. One call to Epson's customer support solved that. The technician was very polite and solved my problem immediately. Seems that the driver disc included with the printer doesn't work with a new update of Windows 7. All you have to do is go to the Epson website and download the updated driver. Installation was easy and the printer now works wirelessly on my home network. I'm very happy with my purchase!
