Everything went well but I had some problems with the network set up part. I will work on it later but the cable set up works OK. I've used it for 2 weeks. It's a great printer, scans and copies well and the color is just fine.
Would recommend it as an economical, all around printer without hesitation.

this is the best printer that i have ever owned, it handles all the tasks in a efficient manner, printing,scanning and pictures, although printer is a little noisy, but not enough to become a nuisance, very pleased so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not too thrilled yet

I just bought the Epson NX420 yesterday. I have used the trouble shoot, but still can't solve my issues. One is, after setting up wireless, I get all working properly except *A router/access point channel conflict has been detected. 2). I wanted to copy something something, put it on the glass and pressed "copy" and nothing happened. It prints off the web, and scans, but wont copy. I have never had problems with a printer before.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros:
Printer design is good. Very easy to hook up.
Cons:
Ink. One set of cartridges is a price of the printer itself. Epson has new anti-generic policy and now it is very problematic these cartridges appeared on market in exceptional price. One of the worse my purchase.

can't scan with OS X

The printer was very easy to set up wirelessly and prints from my Mac. It will not scan wirelessly and that is the reason that I bought it. It will also not work with a USB connection. It is going back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

a great looking machine . it works beautifully. the epson support is awesome. we got a wireless model , an epson nx 420 , i will highly recommend this product !!
