New User Manual

The booklet that accompanied the new printer is helpful but (as a neophyte new user) I did not find specific instructions for how to create an SSID. While experienced computer users may be familiar with this term and how to create it, I had to call in my daughter to hook it up and make it operational for me.
Pleased with the quality and speed of the printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Was never planning to look at an Epson, but a sale and some comparison shopping warranted a first look. For the price, the printer had some excellent features for home use - scanner, photo printing off a memory card, etc. In other words, perfect for school projects!
Wireless set-up has been a bit of a challenge, as we have both a main computer and some netbooks, and the printer demands a CD-ROM based printer driver. So.... rather than have something at the ready r within Windows, we had to go hunting over the net. Did find it but... c'mon guys, make it easy for us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer is very easy to set up. High quality and prints great pictures. I love that it has several settings including advanced picture settings to get the perfect print. I would recommended this printer to anyone!

Need a travel printer?

I needed a smaller, portable printer to use on set. I often need to print graphics and photos on the fly-send a scan through eFax or ten. I didn't want a huge all in one to lug around, so this one seemed right.
Works pretty well. My only complaint is that the wireless works, but then won't accept scanning jobs wirelessly at all. Granted, sometimes portable satellite networks are tricky- maybe that's the cause of it, but when push comes to shove, I don't have hours to work out connectivity issues, just moments while cameras are waiting...
I run Mac snow leopard and should be able to easily connect to everything...so I think this is an Epson software issue. I had to resort to the USB plug to scan and sometimes print, the wireless was sporadic on the Epson. Don't forget to buy one of those plugs- it doesn't come in the box.
All in all, quality was good, scans were easy and clear. Gave it four stars for that. Three for ease of connectivity.
