Quick and easy installation on all my network computers. A fantastic price! Every document I have printed is fast and looks professionall done. Probably one of the best home printers available for the price.

Great Printer

I have found the Epson NX420 to be the ideal home printer. The connection to my WiFi system was easy and both my desktop and laptop have no problem printing wirelessly. The quality is superior and pictures look exceptional if printed on high quality printing paper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I can't get the wireless to work. I setup the the printer with the USB cable first, as suggested, but can't get it to switch. I'm still trying.

Great Printer & Scanner!!

I've owned my Epson Stylus NX420 All-In-One printer/scanner since early August 2011. I've waited until now to provide a review because I wanted to make sure it was as good a performer as it was out of the box. I'm happy to say, it is!! The usual Epson quality of print, print speed, and photo printing is impressive with a printer in this price range. The build quality is excellent!! It's set up on my wireless network so that anyone on the network (3 computers) can print from anywhere in the house. Easy to set up and trouble free thereafter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WIFI setup did not work

I don't recommend this device. The WIFI setup did not work due to some complaint regarding a channel conflict. All my other WIFI devices connect and work just fine, but not this EPSON Printer (Epson Stylus NX420). Don't buy it, find something better for a WIFI configuration.
For the curious: I changed my WIFI channel on my router from 11 to 7 then to 1 all result in same complaint. The printout of the results/problems proper SSID, excellent signal strength and correct WIFI key/password. Still this thing would not connect. Even moved the printer to be in closer proximity to the router (less than 20 feet).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very shaky

Bought this printer last weekend, my other fairly new (1 1/2 years) printer stopped working and it of course was out of warranty. I bought this printer because it was on sale. When I was checking out, they informed me that the cartridges were the same price as the printer...what a rip!!! Anyway, got it home, installation instructions easy, but when it prints, the very sturdy bookcase it is on shakes like a washing machine...So, overall, not that happy with my purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brand new out of the box this printer has worked twice printing and three times scanning. Then the paper jammed. Once I cleared the jam it printed a faded blue and pink that wasn't legible. Discouraged by reading the manual and being unable to fix the printer I decided to scan for a while and come back to the printing problem. The scanner then refused to scan. After trying for 45 minutes to get the scanner to work I gave up and went back to my old printer/scanner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

terrible, terrible printer

I have hated this printer for a year and a half. It prints 5% of the documents you send to it. It is the most frustrating, terrible product I have ever, ever bought!!!!! I will never buy another Epson printer again.
