USB cord issue

The rectangular plug where the USB cable goes into the NX430 would not fit the hole. The solution was to take the plug and carefully file off the plastic shoulders until the plug fitted into the hole. Once done the USB mated perfectly. What's up Epson?

The ink runs out so fast, it's ridiculous. And the printer is very slow to print.
Any other setting than "normal" is basically invisible, which forces you to use a lot of ink, which makes things difficult.
Also: you can't even SCAN things if the ink runs out. How does that make any sense at all?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

USB CABLE EXTREMLY HARD TO PLUG IN I HAD TO REMOVE PART OF THE COVER IN ORDER TO MAKE THE CONNECTION! Otherwise no problems so far.

I love my new printer so far. It has really exceeded my expectations. The pc free copying is amazing. I just take whatever I need to make a copy of and stick onto the copying area on the top of the printer. Next, I simply push a button and then it does its magic. The quality of the products prints is remarkable. I am happy I decided to purchase the Epson brand. The wi-fi capability is just an added bonus.

set up isssue

I have not have a chance to use it, just bought it yesterday and already having issue setting up to my computers , desktop and laptops, it is difficult to set up for wireless printing , especially my laptop with Vista operating sys.
The printer keep turning to sleep mode, when try to connect wireless setting.
If the computer is shut down and turn on later, it shows the there is issue, it identity the printer as a epson memory card and is not connected, I may return this to the store

Printer is fast and ink dry's quick. I like the paper feeder on top and the paper exit on the bottom. Just a little big.

I used an Epson Photo 700 for over 10 years until the ink cartridges were no longer easily available. I loved that printer! I chose to go with Epson again and bought the NX420 to replace the Photo 700. This model has additional features such as a copier and scanning, which I have needed. I am pleased with the quality of the printing so far. I look forward to many more years of great service from a quality Epson printer!
