Using a Mac OSX 10.6, the scanner is fast, prints quickly and in great color, outstanding price, and scans wonderfully. I put 8 pictures on the scan bed and I saved all 8 pictures as a separate picture. Not sure if other scanners do this, but I love the capability to do that. The Wifi feature is superb. I can put it anywhere in the house and print to it, without it being connected to a computer or wireless router. Very easy to use and great quality. I recommend this over all others.

nx420 - bad choice

I also had a bad experiece. Got a new computer and this printer, 4 hours later and I got nowhere.
Would not recognize a wireless connection or one with a USB cable installed. Another person tried and got nowhere.
And this was not my first EPSON printer. Got another printer. differnet brand, 123 it was done, printing correctly. I don't no what is wrong with epson but these problems are serious.

It was easy to install. I hope I use it enough to keep the inks from drying out. I have only printed one page. My hope is that this product will continue to function after the the warantee is up.

This printer made my life alittle easier. With an important art show three weeks away, I found a way to print photos of previous work for display. It looked GREAT!

Found that installation was very easy without USB cables. The system appears to be a little slow when copying, however have not noticed when printing or scanning. Over all for the money find the system very good for my purposes.

Purdchased today, 9/12/2010. So far I'm very dissatified with your product. The installation started out fine until I got to the part where plug in the USB. Found the location very difficult. The USB was also very hard to plug in. Once I got in all in the test page came out with skipped lines. When the paper begins to feed it sound like trashing machine. Itried to print a document with two pages, again the first page had skipped lines. the second page was O.K. Then I tried to use the copier, again very poor copy, skipprd lines. Same problem with the paper feed. Will be returning the product some time tomorrow or the next day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

somewhat disappointing

I have had Epson printers for years and have always been extremely satisfied with the quality of the printing. I am no longer impressed with the quality of the product. I have just purchased this printer to replace an Artisan 810 that was broken after less than 2 months of use- The hinge on the scanner unit is plastic and broke. The scanner unit never closed properly and with the broken hinge it was not able to print at all. The Artisan printed wonderfully. but I need it for more than photo printing & I need it to work. I chose this as a replacement as it is simpler and better replaces the stylus all in one that I had for years that I had loved. does not begin to compare....
I would recommend this to a friend!
