Epson Stylus NX420

I bought it with a new computer, set it up, and for some odd reason the scanner won't work. There's no obvious solution, so I'm left randomly trying different things, which is VERY frustrating (and so far unsuccessful).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recently bought an NX420 printer, scanner, copier, wireless, all-in-one. This machine is nice. Easy to set-up, easy to use. We have printed an copied so far. We want to scan some things soon. I recently bought 2 more of these units, 1 for each of our college students. I would recommend to anyone.

Our NX420 All-in-one printer has been a bargain in price to quality of print. It is reliable and is used daily. With good conscience I can recommend this printer for moderate to heavy home office work.

Purchased this, our 2nd Epson, when the previous one "expired." It is performing well - quickly, different paper sizes, great photos and still using color cartridges that came with it in July. It was easy to set up/connect/install for this grandmother. It does make a NOISE when first "drawing" paper through but guess that is part of its makeup. I haven't used the copying feature and only used the scanner once but the scanner performed well. I just need to read up and see how to designate where the scanned images go because on a "free standing" scanner that we have each month creates a new folder where the scanned images go and I like that so keep using that one rather than the Epson.

So far all I've done is print things out from my laptop. It was easy to install and it works great! The fact that it's WiFi is also a plus.
Barring the above, the print quality is good. i have not used to scan or print photos yet so have no comments on these functions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this printer. I have owned Epson printers in the past and loved them. The print quality is great and the photo quality is excellent! Epson seems like the only printer that is easy to use with a MAC computer. I have tried other printers, but have returned them because they do not seem as compatible as the Epson. I am very happy with my new Epson and it was a great price for a great printer!!!!!
