Quality and User Friendly

After using this printer for almost a year, I have nothing but good things to say about the product. The set up was painless, easy to follow instructions, and good quality printing. Granted I have been using computers for many years, even I was impressed with the quality of this product. The one thing that stopped me from rating this product 5 stars, was that it only works with the Epson ink cartridges made specifically for this printer. I've tried refilled and off brand cartridges only to find that if I didn't purchase a new brand name Epson Ink cartridge, the printer wouldn't work or recognize the replacement. Over all, this is one very dependable printer and I would purchase another just like it if I needed to.

For the price it is a very good deal and for the average household you can't beat it. For some others it might be a little slow if they do a lot of printing. For them a more expensive Epson would be more efficient. Those would still be a good deal. This is the third or fourth Epson I have owned so you can see I'm satisfied.........

Not a great printer. Paper loads loosely and doesn't feed into machine too good. No option for Photos. Paper tray broke off (the part where the print out should sit after it prints).
We got ours free with a purchase of a computer but I would not purchase this printer.

This is a great little printer. It does an excellent job at copying and scanning. In fact, I really had never done much in the way of scanning photographs until I purchased this printer. But this printer makes it so easy to scan photos into the computer, I now do it routinely as soon I get them back from the developer. From there, I turn them into albums.
I've also installed this printer into a number of computers (2 laptops, 1 desktop, & 2 Kindles), and I have never experienced a problem in either installing the printer or in them working properly afterwards.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have become very frustrated with ink cartridge replacement method with this printer. Twice I have replaced genuine Epson cartridges and keep getting the the message "Ink cartridges not recognized." In fact I'm having that problem now. I've following the instructions to no avail. About ready to toss this printer on the junk heap!
