This printer is great for light use. It's a little slow in all the functions so it's not good if you have big jobs to do. It's very compact so is fits into a small cabinet and the wireless feature is awesome, never had a problem with it. Set up was super easy, and on my Mac was completely wireless.
All the functions work well and it's simple to operate. Copies are clear even the scanned documents come out very clear. I just had my first problem with the scanner and was able to fix it easily after finding the solution on the internet. I wish Epson had better customer support, but otherwise I recommend this 3-in-one.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Did not take as long as I thought and the on screen commands directed my every step. I'm not much of a computer person and I was printing within 10 minutes. The print and the pictures are clear and it is so much faster than my old printer (also an Epson by the way).
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great all-in-one printer. I needed a flat bed scanner and this one meets all my needs. Scans in black-white to full color and has a scan resolution from 150 DPI to 3000 DPI. Copy mode enables me to reduce/enlarge in black-white to full color. It also meets all my printer needs, from standard black to full color photo. The 4 separate Ink cartridges enable me to purchase the colors I am using as they are used up. This is a replacement scanner for the NX415 I broke. Rather than have the 415 fixed, I moved up to the 420.

Overall a good printer at a cheap price. Lack of manual except online a drawback. Being unable to print when any of the print cartridges goes out is a deal killer to most people. Good enough for casual use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed to find out that my printer does not work with the Apple Lion operating system as that's what I got it to be used with was my MacPro. It doesn't print very well. I'm sure when Epson comes out with an update for the Lion operating system, it will work great and I'll change my review.
