EPSON Stylus NX420 Printer

One month ago I purchased the copy/scan/printer EPSON NX420. I like this machine very much. It works and looks good; the size and weight are very comfortable; the printed product is crisp and clear; the cost of the ink cartridges is much lower than I used to pay for my old machine. I looked at the EPSON Store on-line and found it very easy to manipulate; I especially liked the discounts being offered, and the promise of future discounts and specials. I have already recommended EPSON to a friend, and would not hesitate to do so again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After getting the driver installed it was great. My suggest is that since there are so many notebooks now, there should be a shortcut way on your start here instruction sheets to assist the none CD users. Other than that all is good. Aloha a hui hou!

First Impressions - All-In-One NX420

Bought a new Epson NX420 for it's WiFi capabilities, less than 4 hours ago. Looks similar to and I would assume functions similar to my older Epson CX8400. Epson keeps pushing for review! I have always had good results and funtional machines from Epson, we will see how well this one runs! Update coming.... Only gave 3 out of 5 rating pending actual use!

I like the wireless feature. however, loading some files to print (especially color pictures) take a long time. Sometimes I cannot print a pdf from the web, so I don't know if it's the web or the printer's fault. Also, the black ink seems to be being used up rather quickly. I need more time to make a better assessment, though, but as a plug-in and go, it is quite easy to use.

Scan with the NX420

The NX420 cannot scan from the printer control panel to a PC without a USB connection. I am using wireless connection to the printer from my iMac. When I select the NX420 on the iMac for scanning it will scan beautifully. It might do it from your PC too.

I purchased this product about 7 months ago. I use it at home a couple time a week, no major problems except it is loud when printing, and I had a hard time getting the scan drivers off the web

Reasonalbly priced, but very noisy when printing.
Poor paper feed. Print quality is Ok. I do however like the scan feature.It is very user friendly. I wish I would have invested a little more money and gotten a better printer

what a joy.... it was so simple to set up on my lap top. if i can do it, anybody can. and it's wireless........ love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
