The set up was easy enough, the only thing is you need to have a usb cable (it does not come with one). Also you should know that if ANY of the ink cartridges run out it will not print. Prints and copies are of great quality.

Awesome printer. Setup a breeze. Used the wireless feature as I have two college students who are constantly on their laptops & having the wireless feature makes our lives easier. No more sending the project to the main computer, then going to the other room to print. One button does it all. Printouts are clear and crisp, cartridges are reasonably priced. I am very pleased. Thank you Epson, you are #1 as are my Philadelphia Phillies!

I very much enjoy having the convience of being able to print out important documents, make a copy of them an then even print out shipping lables, tabs, even my business cards for my home ran business! I thank You Epson for once again sending me a completely satisfied product.....best of luck on more sales.

I took my standalone Epson flatbed scanner to the office to use at work and bought this printer/scanner combo to replace it at home. You'd think that a scanner that is only a feature of a printer would be lower quality, but it's not. The software is exactly the same for this and the flatbed scanner. The resolution is the same as far as I can tell. Sorry, I don't know the model number of the flatbed I'm comparing this to... I think I bought it maybe four years ago. So yeah, it's older, but I love it. I don't think scanners have changed much.. I think they've just gotten a lot cheaper over the years. Anyway, unless you are designing rastor art for billboards, you don't need a better scanner than this!!!
Also, the printer part (not the scanner part) is absolutely wireless.
Okay, when the scanner goes wireless, THAT would be a worthwhile improvement.
Okay, so overall, if you're looking for a scanner and you happen to need a printer too, this is an obvious choice.
If you already have a wireless printer... I don't know. I don't know enough about printers to tell you how this one compares to others in its price range. ...oh. One time it refused to print book-fold for me. It was definitely my printer's fault because I was able to send the book-fold print job to the laser printer at work just fine. So there. Maybe you will have problems printing book-fold documents via MS Word.
Oop! Another thought: the on-device buttons are handy for computer-free copy machine functionality, but that's about it.
Overall, I recommend this printer/scanner! And Epson scanners in general. This is my third. <3

I am glad to be back with epson. Having had one before I knew my new one would be great and it is. The colors are clear and vibrant and this printer is very easy for an older person to use.

I was very impressed with the ease of set up.
The instructions were clear and precise. I have not found a printer yet that can compare to the speed and clarity of the Epson. It also seems to have a longer lifespan than other printers. I have been in business for 10 years and I have tried several printers and Epson is top of the line in value and price.
