Epson NX420 printer

I bought this for my personal use so it does fine. If you want a printer that prints photos fast, this is not for you. Quality is very good, but it is s-l-o-w. Wireless set up for my desk top computer was easy, no problems. Tried to set up my laptop wireless and cannot get it to work. Again for my personal use, so I just put stuff on a flash drive and transfer it to my desk top. Like I said, quality of pictures is very good, but it won't break any speed records.

I love that is wireless for me thats the best thing that you don't have to be connected by a cable. Also that is very easy to install. Size is also very good, and is a quick printer, I simply love it.

First wireless printer

This is the first time I purchased a wireless printer. Thier were other wireless printers available at the website, but your product fit my budget and had all the items I was looking for in a printer. This is the first Epson product as well, but now that I know that Epson offers great products, this will not be the last one I will purchase. I like how easy it was to setup the printer and locate my wireless network, which is also a first. I always did everything by cable/usb connections. I own a wireless laptop, and two wireless pc computers. Your product fits my needs in all respects. Thank you for making this and more prducts available to fit budget needs.

Great deal!!

I needed an all-in-one for infrequent but important home office applications, to include scanning to .pdf. This printer was a super bargain via staples, and even a troglodyte like me was able to hook it up in no time. My only gripe would be for Epson to include a better usage instruction manaual... modes etc for the machine aren't entirely intuitive, but I was still able to get it together with minimal hassle. A great machine that I would absolutely recommend for basic home use!!

NX-420

I just purchased my second NX420 . My wife had no printer for her computer, and I got this model for her a few months ago. It is quiet, less costly for cartridges, scans, copies, etc. It does more than I need, but it is very reasonably priced and easy to install/use. SO, when my old Epson finally gave out (it was nearly 12 years old), I got myself a second NX420, Now we will both have the same abilities, and spare cartridges to match.

It's a great printer and it works for all the reasons I bought it for. However, I found out that I cannot scan anything without the USB cable, which, conveniently doesn't come with the printer.

So far I am more than pleased with this product. I immediately tried everything. It is very quiet and is more than fast enough for my use. The set up was easy too, as is the operation.

Hard to install

I had a terrible time installing this on my Mac. I ended up at Macforums where they talked me through downloading drivers, and going through a complicated process of pulling them off my hard drive. I am hoping the printer will be worth it.
