Too soon to tell - Pros/Cons

Pros: a) The all in one features are easy to access.b) I have already used scanning, loading pictures from a memory card, black and white printing, and connecting to the network with no USB wire. It was fast and easy.c) Nice design with large buttons. d) Basic operation controls are easily accessible.
Cons: 1) Loading paper system is abrupt, noisy and gives the sensation that something is stuck inside. The pages are not leveled/parallel to the front line of the printer. The first page printed normal, but the second entered twisted and was jammed/"bitten" on the side. 2) I would like to see a larger photo display.
I will come back after a while with my two cents. Thank you for your product.

Attached new 3 in one to desktpo. Worked like a char. Faster, neater,cleaner than the old one( not epson ) Howeverhave a problemI can't fathom. Dsk top out for repairs and tried to unite laptop to new printer etc. Laptop recognizes scaner, works well,but can't access printer. Loaded cd to laptop and using hard link but to no avail. I'm sure the problem is me but I cant semto access help on machine. Any thoughs?

Very happy with the printer and support. Wifi works great and was a snap to set up. I had to call support to change the destination file of scanned docs. The manual didn't list it in full auto mode. It has to be done in professional mode. Then the document will go to my desktop (where I want it). Instead of sending EVERY SCANNED ITEM to My Pictures folder.I called support. They answered on the second or third ring. I was done in less than three minutes. I will always buy Epson. This is my fourth printer from them over the last nine years. Their support is fantastic.The printers work great also.

one thing bad about this printer is that, everytime you have to buy all the cartridges, even if you just want to use its scanning function. and if you just want black and white copies, you still have to buy the other empty cartridges.

I wrote such a bad review of the artisan 50 that I feel I must tell you that I bought a stylus NX420 and it was so easy to connect wirelessly , I still have hope that I'll be able to use the artisan as well but it is not communicating with my computer still tho the green light is now steady and the orange light is out. I have high hopes of using them both when that last problem is resolved.

Despite the doubtful looks of the tech rep at the store I was easily able to install the new wireless printer on the first try. (Unlike my previous experience with the wireless router!)
Goes to show even older quiltie ladies can do it themselves!

Very easy to set up. I have not run the scanner yet. One disappointment is that Epson did not include a FAX application software. Since the computers are built with modems a fax application is no big deal to include.
I would recommend this to a friend!
