My New Scanner/Printer

I have been familiar with the family of Epson office machine products from way back from the dot matrix era.
My good experiences have never turned into problem areas.
I expect my new Epson Stylus NX420 to continue in that trdition.
BTW the purchase price was irresistibly affordable.

Great bang for the buck!

Have had the printer for a little more than a month now, and it's done everything we've asked flawlessly. Pics are crisp and clear. Very easy to set it up on my wireless network. The absolute only thing I wish it would do is connect with my iphone to print without having to get apps for the iphone, but i can live with that, especially since the pic printing app was as easy as downloading the app and printing a pic from my phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

PROS: The printer price was great, it does all functions well with no problems in any area(coping, scanning, or printing). Help desk was wonderful and provided clear easy instructions to set epson up wirelessly. CONS: Enclosed disk did not work, had to download information. Took some work to connect wirelessly to laptop. A bit bulky for my tast. Good solid BUY. I would recommend.

The appearance is better than the product. I think I would have chose a different printer if I had known the printer was going to be complicated to set up.

Everything installed fairly easy. I'm not that good with networking/wireless and it seemed to go smoothly. Epson Scan does not work on my desktop Windows 7, S.P. 1, 64 bit, though works on my Laptop? I don't understand. I can scan through other apps like Microsoft Scan. Overall, very nice printer.

I orginally purchaced this printer as just my home printer. However it was better than the more expensive one that I had been using for my in home bussiness. I am now using this one for all my digital image printing for my business. It prints great quailty images that I use in my projects that I sell to stores, online, and at craft fairs. The ink last a while, and I am a high volume printer, and the quality is alway 100%! I could not be more please!! The only down side is that when it comes to buying ink you can not buy a set with all the colors, each catarage must be purchesed indv., but the ink is priced great and not a big deal. LOVE this printer!!

I purchased this printer to use when i am out of town on trips. I have had the printer for two days now and the only problem I have had was getting the Wi-Fi working. After I figured out that I needed to download new drivers from the Epson web site i didn't have any problems. the original drivers furnished on a CD with the printer didn't work and the message they gave was pretty poor. It said to run the setup again.
I also have an Epson NX400 printer that includes a fax feature and sheet feed scanner. I like it even better but it would be harder to carry around.
i really like the individual ink cartridges on the Epson printers and I also had one in the past that lasted so long it was very hard to get replacement ink cartradges.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have had this printer about 2 weeks and have had nothing but problems with the printer part of it.
It has constant paper jams. I have gotten new paper for it , made sure the side guides are in correct position and everything it requires to operate correctly and still it does nothing but jam. I regret buying this printer and would not recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing
