Setup was a challenge as the CD which comes with the unit does not work for Win 7. Had to go online to find the appropriate drivers that took 3 hours to download. Once downloaded and burnt to a CD, installation was quick and easy. Works like a charm. Love scanning a paper and have it appear on my computer across the room....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson Stylus NX420

The printer and copying functions are excellent and much faster that my previous Epson multifunction machine. Setting up was quick and easy. Unfortunately, the Epson Scan software is not yet available for Mac OS 10.6. That fact was not immediately obvious in the included information. Scanning does work with imaging editing software like Preview, but multipage scanning into one document is difficult.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not Compatible with Windows 7 64-bit

With a brand new laptop and a brand new printer, I didn't expect any issues. It loaded up on my hubby's Vista PC easily enough, but then we had to spend 3 hours downloading patches in an effort to get the different components of the all-inb-one to work on my new, Windows 7 64-bit Compaq laptop. Even after all of the patches were installed, certain features still do not work do not work, ie: Using the buttons located directly on the machiene still does not give the option to scan a document to any PC on our wireless network other than my hubby's.
Also, I am less than impressed with the capacity of the ink cartridge for the price...

Epson CX3200 printer

Just replaced my CX3200 which I have had for over 6 years with no problems!! Loved it! Hope my new NX420 can live up to the 3200 in service! The feature I think I am going to like better on the new printer is the individual color ink cartridges (rather than replacing the 3-color cartridge when there is still ink left).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wow, what a nice printer. We have laptops and the wireless capabilities are wonderful. The color is so vibrant.

Printer was easy to set up & works great--I replaced an older Epson that I was completely happy with only because I wanted a wireless printer--I really like the four separate ink cartridges also--I have been very pleased with Epson product & not so pleased with other brands--I have told others about my preference for Epson products, which I do not do unless a product is very good--A good buy
