This printer might be great, if it would ever work. With the installation CD, the printer driver won't install. So I go to the website, download the driver, right? WRONG! The driver won't download there either! It is interrupted in the last five seconds. I have attempted this using two different computers, and I can not get the driver to work. Also, the paper is hard to load correctly. I plan on contacting support to see if I can resolve this issue, but honestly, it would be a lot less effort if I had just bought a decent printer to begin with.

Epson MX 420 is one of the easiest printers to set up on my network. I setup two laptops, and it took very little time.

The thing that stinks is everytime we have to buy a new printer for the business, they don't use the same ink! I feel its a way to get you to buy new ink & then the old is useless...what a waste of precious dollars!!! Also, you can't just replace a worn out belt, you have to buy a whole new printer; or the cost of repairs outweigh the cost of a new printer. Other than that, we like your printers as far as their performance, etc.

I connected this printer to my net and supsequently to 2 of my 3 computers. connection to the 2 computers (one with XP and one with Windows 7 32 bit) went without a hitch.
My new ASUS with Windows 7, 64 bit I spent 2 days trying to get working. Support is lacking for the new systems. The information is scarttered and incomplete.

Needed a new and different printer. This was recommended by Apple and Apple reviewers. It is only a few days old and I have printed - at will - and scanned and copied - with ease!!!

Maintenance Issues

We used this printer at our small business office. It worked great for awhile, but then it started doing odd things. Alignment issues, head constantly needed to cleaned, jams all the time. Its only one of 3 printers, and it gets the lightest use (maybe 20 pages a week). We got about 4 months of good use, until issues started. Its out of ink and jamming on us now. While at the store to buy new cartridges, I just bought a different printer.
Also, when you run out of any color (Black, Yellow, Magenta, or Cyan) ink, you can't print ANYTHING. I have a full black ink cartridge but I can't print at all because I'm out of Cyan. It then pops up a message on the printer that won't let you change any settings, and it also pops up a "Buy Epson Ink" message on your computer that can't be closed unless you use Task Manager.
On the plus side, this is one of the only printers I've installed that was plug and play. I usually have to do a lot of downloading, installing, and patching to get a printer up, but this was just installed itself.
May be a good printer for light at home use. Although seeing how it performs, I would recommend just trying a different printer.
