THE FIRST PRINTER WAS DEFECTIVE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. CUSTOMER SEVICE SENT ME A REPLACEMENT, THAT I RECIEVED IN THREE DAYS.
THE SECOUND PRINTER COULD NOT BE PROGRAMED WITH THE DISK THE FACTORY SUPPLIED. AFTER ABOUT THIRTY MINUTES ON THE PHONE, WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY HELPED ME DOWNLOAD THE PROPER SOFTWEAR.[I USE WINDOWS 7 HOME] ALL TOLD I SPENT OVER THREE HOURS GETTING THIS PRINTER ONLINE.
CUSTOMER SEVICE IS GREAT, BUT THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE A WATTS NUMBER.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Epson Stylus NX420 All in One Printer

I just received the printer. The set up was easy breezy. The printing quality was perfect and the colors look great. For an at home usage, this is a wonderful printer.
The set up makes it easy for novices. I just don't know about the ink usage as it is expensive. My only suggestion is that Epson lower the price of their ink cartridges at some point or offer more coupons or discounts for loyal customers. This is my 2nd Epson printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Printer on the Market for Writers

As a writer, I don't ask much of a printer. Clean copies, flawless operation, reliability. That's why this printer is my second in ten years. Plus I chose an updated model of the one I had that now becomes a backup. Why reinvent the wheel? I know quality because that's what Epson provides. No other brand is as good.

Epson NX420 Installation

This was by far the most simple and successful installation for any digital equipment that I have had. The product review, after test print, was excellent. I got an excellent value.

I had Alot of trouble to make the connection with my computer. The disc did not perform. After two calls still no result; Called my computer expert and he helped me over the phone and in less than 1 minute i was able to make copies from my computer. Yah!

Very user friendly, fast, and extremely easy to set up and connect to my home wireless network. The print quality is excellent as well. After downloading the epson app, I am supposed to be able to print pics and other docs print from my smart phone. I haven't done this yet but everything else works great.
pretty much just plug it in, follow all the prompts and you're ready to print in just a few minutes!
