Just bought this printer today. My 15 year old son and I set it up with a mininum of problems. The only thing the person who sold it to us forget to mention was that we needed a usb cable. Lucky for him the Epson 880 I have had a usb cable we used to start the installation. I made a copy and printed a couple of photos which turned out great! Like I said I just bought this today but I am pleased so far with it.

This was the easiest printer, to set up, that I have ever had and after I finished setting it up and used it, I was thrilled. It printed very fast and the copy that I made was perfect. If it keeps doing this, I will always have a Epson. Thank you!!

Great Wireless Printer!

I was doubtful when I saw the price of this product and the "easy installation" promise on the box. But it truly WAS easy to connect to a wireless network. It's NOT a workhorse.....printing is a little slower than I had expected but the quality is very good. Price of print cartridges was a bit higher than the competition but the number of pages per cartridge was higher so......we'll see if it's a better investment long term. Overall, I think this printer was a good purchase!

Fast easy setup

So far everything looks good. I had another Epson printer which I had to replace due to blockage of the black printhead, so all I had to do was pull the powercord and USB cables off the old computer and put them on the new printer at the times instructed in the quick start guide. Easy peasy! The only bad thing is that the setup instructions tell you to pull out the paper and receiving trays too early. I have the printer in a bookshelf and this made it more difficult when I had to turn the printer to install the USB cable. I think it would make more sense to hold off on this step until after you have inserted the USB cable and before you print your testpage. You don't need the paper until then anyway.

installation

The installation as a WiFi printer was going fine until it halted because the CD software wasn't compatible with Windows 7. The online fix, going to Epson for new software, was very clumsy but eventually succeed. Installation on a different computer running Vista was easy. It is working fine but the skimpy ink supply included with the machine seems like less than a class move.
