Seems to be a great printer/scanner

I have only had the printer a couple weeks, but so far no issues. We have both Windows and Mac in the house.
I installed the software on the windows machine, but only the EpsonNet Config that I downloaded online for the Mac. I had read the Mac does better without the software. It automatically found the printer was a breeze to set-up.
The reason I wanted the EpsonNet Config software was so I could assign the printer a static IP address. This always works better with Network printers, because after power failures, etc. It don't loose the IP of the printer, and causes far less problems. (some I had read in other reviews, that the computer could not find the printer later, this is probably why).
Over all the scan and print quality are both good and relatively fast. I am pleased and would definitely recommend to a friend.
The reason for only 4 stars is that I haven't had it long enough to be able to know if it will be this good for the long haul.

We have always preferred Epson products for or office needs. We find that the NX450 to fit right in with our system requirements perfectly.
It is always nice to know that their service and reliabilty can always be trusted.

I bought this printer mostly for the scanning aspect. The scanner works well and the quality of the image is good but scanning is very slow.

I brought on for my cousin for X-Mas. She loved it. She asked if I had one (a printer) myself, I told her NO. She said I must get one. So I did! LOVE IT!

I HAVE HAD (3) EPSON PRINTERS SINCE I STARTED OVER TEN YEARS AGO. MY FIRST ONE WAS A C88, THEN I UP GRADED TO A CX740-0, THAT ONE LASTED OVER 3 1/2 YRS/ AND NOW I HAVE A NX420 AND I JUST LOVE IT.

I just bought this new wireless printer. I am so not a computer geek but I had NO trouble setting it up. It was very easy. Thank you Epson for making my world more simple.

It was as simple as 1-2-3 right out of the box I plugged the printer in.I plugged in the USB cable,the 110v power supply cable,installed the software.Each step was printed out even the loading of the ink cartridges and loading the paperwas made very easy by the simple instructions
After the printer was setup I printed off a test sheet and the result was perfect.Congrats to Epson for a job well done

Works OK. Ink cost to HIGH and is not cheap to use.
