Burnt on one side and uncooked on the other

This is the worst toaster I've ever owned. How can you have a toaster that doesn't even do it's job properly? Buy this if you like one side of your toasted items burnt and the other side cold.

This toaster is good-looking and the features are nice -- however, it doesn't toast evenly on both sides. I will be calling the manufacturer.

Bought in December. From the first use the push down handle was loose and is hard to get it to catch when I push it down to toast. Yesterday, the handle seemed set, but the toaster didn't heat. Just awful.

I received this toaster as a gift for christmas this year. I used it for the first time 3 days ago. When i went to make toast today, the bread became stuck and burn't to a brick filling my house with smoke. After I removed the charred brad, i tried again with a a new slice, and the toaster would not work at all. I guess this machine is toast...

Big disappointment

I bought this a couple of days ago and think it's the worst toaster I've ever had. For one thing, the bread carriage lever doesn't stay down unless you tilt it to the right as you push it down. Secondly, it leaves a border untoasted around the bread and last, I have to put it all the way up to the highest setting in order to get it toasted normally. A major disappointment.
