Great features

I have had this washer for over a week, I cannot believe the difference from my old washer to this one.. I love it, I also bought the matching dryer, and use the wrinkle shield with just about every load, it does cut down on using an iron...I do like how you have control over the loads of wash...ie: towels, sheets whites, ect. great set...The price was not that bad,

Lid breaking 2nd time!

I bought this washing machine and it was great for the time I could use it. The lid has broken twice. I have been out of a washing machine more than I could use it. Very poor lid design. So disappointed.

Don't waste your money!

I bought my set about two years ago. My washer now makes no sound when turned on and goes to the E6F6 error code. I have tried the unplug and wait 15mins to fix it and it does nothing. I was told that to fix this problem it would cost me more then I paid for my washer.

Worst washer I've ever owned

This thing is junk. We bought it last year and have had nothing but misery. The first one the motor broke within 10 days. They brought a 2nd one. This thing does NOT get your clothes clean. It simply tangles them all up so badly the wrinkles will not come out even in a hot dryer, the soap doesnt always rinse out and some articles are still dry in spots after the wash! I have followed all directions about how to load the clothes, loosely up the sides, agitator plate exposed, balled up loosely individually...it matters not. The items end up so mangled on each other sometimes it is difficult to even get them untangled! Even with the extra water level setting, doesnt matter what apin speed. Do NOT buy this machine. It is ruining our clothes. It also sometimes decides not to drain or spin ar all, so clothes are sopping wet requiring you to do a rinse and spin cycle to get them rinsed out and not weighing 100 lbs. I cannot say enough do NOT buy!!

Terrible washer

Bought this washer and within 2 years it sounded like a rocket getting ready to take off! Loudest machine I've ever owned. I googled it and it seems that the bearings have already gone bad! Minimum of $400 to repair. Also have had problems with clothing cleanliness upon completion of cycle. My old Whirlpool was 20+ years old and was made so much better than this piece of junk. Have to switch to a new brand it seems.

Whirlpool makes a big mistake!!!

Failed experiment in low water washer. On normal settings, the clothes are not clean and often still have soap residue. Multiple trips to the dermatologist with skin irritation before I was able to trace the issue to the soap residue. Whirlpool has damaged their otherwise fine brand with this model which we purchased about 7 years ago. Somewhat of a workaround is to always use bulky and extra rinse settings. Probably not a good idea to spend any repair money on this washer, best to just replace. I'm not sure if I'll go with another Whirlpool.

We've had our Cabrio about 2 years. It has worked reliably for that time but recently has been clicking the lock ing mechanism and blinking F5 on the display. Turned out that soap build up on the sides and back towards the hing was keeping the locking mechanism from fully engaging. Clendenin the lid and the corners by the hing and the washing machine now works properly. Watched a YouTube video on how to clean the locking mechanism in case you need to take it to the next level. A hall effect switch would have been much better choice than a contact sensor for the locking mechanism as it is only few pennies more and is rated for millions of cycles.
