Melted Terminal block! almost caught fire

2018 model had a bad burnt plastic smell - turns out the terminal block had melted and was smoking. So scary. Could've caused a house fire.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We finally built our dream kitchen; as always, the appliances are the showstoppers in the room. We bought this stove, plus a KitchenAid fridge (amazing) and dishwasher (it's so darn smart!). My first dual-fuel stove. The cooktop is flat, the burners are easy to set and the super burners get a large pot boiling in minutes. Frankly, I was worried the stove would take a while to reach temperature. It's faster than the old gas stove it replaced. Easy to use and shockingly accurate at every temp, critical for some baking. And slow cooking a roast at 125 for ten hours - easy peasy. Oh, and the roller oven rack - amazing. This is a cook's stove!
