I would like to enjoy this bread maker but I cannot get past how rock hard the crust is regardless of what setting I use. I have tried putting in plastic and that does not work. I will be returning.

We appreciate you sharing your initial experience with your breadmaker. If you've been getting a thick and hard crust on your bread, it could be due to an imbalance in the ingredients. This is usually caused by using too much flour in relation to the amount of liquids. Often, this happens when measuring cups are used to measure the flour. To avoid this, we recommend using a kitchen scale to measure the ingredients accurately, which will ensure the perfect dry to liquid ratio in the recipe and result in a perfect loaf.

Have had this machine for almost 9 years! Love it. Now replacing the inside pan due to my stupidity. Had another machine before and this brand is the winner. Used YouTube for tips and improved my bread. You are what you eat! Leave the chemical bread at the grocery store!

This is my second bread machine from Zojirushi, and I love it! My first one is 16 years old and still working. I have had to replace the bread pan and paddles, but it makes perfect bread. I have adapted several bread recipes for this bread maker and also use it for pizza dough.

Great bread machine! After checking on line reviews and ATK recommendations, we opted for the Zojirushi Home Bakery Supreme and have not been disappointed! From home ground wheat bread to plain old white bread this machine has performed. We have also used it for sugar free jam made with stevia and it’s out of this world! Once in canning jars you can use a water bath to make it shelf stable with little labor, mess or heat in your kitchen. We can’t wait to use this machine for more of its capabilities.
