[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the ease of use with this bread machine. Everything is clearly labeled and easy to change the settings. I have used recipes from the included recipe book and they have all worked out well. If you are new to making bread or using a bread machine, they are very basic recipes but they provide a great starting point to experiment and find what provides the most appealing flavor and texture to you. I do wish that the recipes for cakes in particular provided ingredients to actually make from scratch instead of using a boxed mix. I love that there is a sourdough starter setting and a quick sourdough recipe. This machine does make something that resembles jam but it comes out very thin and runny more like fruit syrup. There is also a setting where you can program a custom course if you have a different recipe that doesn’t cook at the predefined cycle settings.

My father first introduced our family to this product over 20 years ago. He made fresh bread daily. Now I am the proud owner of a brand new Zojirushi and I cannot wait to continue the tradition my father started, for my family.

I have had an earlier model of this machine since 2010. I just bought one for my son and daughter in law. It 13 years later it still works great I love that the newer recipe booklet has the weights of the ingredients. So you can just weight most things as you add them. That means less prep dishes to wash. Yay!
