Not only does this case look GORGEOUS, it's also protective without being as bulky as the Defender series. The colors (Crushed Damson) look so nice. The pink is brighter than in the pictures, but it stands out nicely. It does what it's supposed to and looks great without being weighed down. Love it!

I like the new design of a single piece cover. It has the soft rubber interior with a hard shell cover. Older cases were made by two separate pieces until now. This new design does make it harder to get the phone in but well worth it.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: can be tricky to install

Very nice and high quality case, does not seem to offer as much protection as the commuter series that I am use to getting but it fits perfectly and does provide some protection from normal bumps and such. I would def buy again for my G3

I have always been a huge supporter of Otterbox cases and in fact my last 4 phones have all had Otterbox cases on them. They truly make some of the best cases on the market and have the best warranty in the business if you ask me.
I usually purchase the Commuter Series cases for my phones, and sometimes even both the Defender and commuter. So this is the first time I have purchased one of it's Symmetry series cases. At the time of purchase there was no Commuter case available I would of purchased that instead, and if one becomes available I will purchase a commuter series case as well.
Overall I like the case it slides in and out of the pocket with ease. The case overall seems extremely durable, and has a hard plastic back and rubber front edge around the screen.
I am a little worried however (and I have never been worried in the past about otterbox cases) that the plastic frame around the back, which also surrounds the corners is not soft enough/shock absorbent enough to protect my device in the event it landed on the corner of the device if it fell or was dropped. With the commuter series they typically had a rubber corner which was a little more shock absorbent in my opinion (and with experience dropping it) than the hard plastic of the symmetry case. I was never afraid to drop my phone with a commuter case or defender case but this case worries me. I guess I will know more after I drop it for the first time which is inevitable for me.
Overall I would rather have this case than no case but ideally I would prefer the commuter series.
Pros: High quality, Durable, slides in and out of the pocket with ease, feels really nice in the hand, doesn't add very much bulk to the phone at all, very slim case, best case warranty period!
Cons: case has hard plastic on all 4 corners, no soft rubber corners for shock absorbancy

Very good case. In my opinion this is the minimum as far as size (slim) is concerned that I feel actually protects my phone.
Color is nice and I can slip it in my pant pocket with no issues.
Cons: It is difficult to take back off once on. When I first put it on the phone the phone was turned on. When I tried to type on the phone the letters did not match what I was typing. Seemed like the screen had lost it's calibration because of the case. I turned the phone off and on again and everything worked fine. Only thing missing from this case: the customary screen protector I would always get when I used to purchase Commuter cases!
Pros: High quality, comfortable in hand
Cons: difficult to remove once on

I am not very fond of the symmetry case. It is all one piece and even though it is a little more heavy duty... it is just like something you can get anywhere. I prefer the two piece commuter or defender. I wanted to exchance for one and they told me no. The only perk is the pretty colors!

I used the Otterbox Commuter Series on my last two phones and was quite happy with both of them. They did have a small weakness on the bottom where the flaps for the headphones/charger were. The piece broke off twice in the past 3 years but Otterbox replaced the first one with no issues. I replaced the 2nd phone before contacting Otterbox the 2nd time it happened.
I was a little worried that the Commuter Series was not available for the LG G3 UNTIL I received my Symmetry Case. It fit like a glove and doesn't have flaps at the bottom. It's one piece and seems to be very good. I haven't had a reason to take it off yet as all the accessories fit perfectly even with the case on.
