I have not gotten an otterbox before due to their bulky size. When I upgraded my phone, I decided it needs great protection. I chose this case because it was not as bulky as the Defender, and was a hard case instead of rubber. It is very nice and I would recommend it to others. Only drawback: It does not have a screen protection cover, but that can easily be fixed.
Recommend? Yes
Pros: High quality
Cons: no screen protection

Best Case Out There

This is my third phone/tablet that I've bought an Otterbox case to protect so I'm not new to the brand. They're the best case out there, period.
My only gripe is the lack of colors. Previously all of my cases were the white with gray silicon which seemed to be a Otterbox staple for color choices. This time that option is not present for the G3 and the pink and blue are terrible shades of their respective color. Please bring back the white and gray case!
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: lack of colors, case is still a little too thick

Cracked screen on first drop

Ive had this case on my phone for about 6 months now. I really liked the design, but I just dropped my phone for the first time on the tile in my bathroom, and the screen cracked... 7 lines running across the whole width of the phone. What is the point of a slim case if it literally does nothing to protect the phone. I would have been just as good if I didnt use the case..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great case but inaccurate color portrayal

I've been waiting for this case to release even before I received my G3. I'm a big fan of the symmetry line for it's minimalistic design and great colors while maintaining great protection. I ordered the crushed damson colorway and was very surprised when the case arrived. The color on the website looks like a rosy pink with dark purple silicone lining, however in person the pink is neon, like highlighter pink. It took some getting used but I've grown accustomed to looking at it. I'll keep the case because it serves it's purpose but I can't wait for more colors to be released. All in all, good job Otterbox!

great case

This is one of the best cases that I've owned. It's very stylish, fairly low profile, and feels great in the hand. It's a great design and I love the way it feels solid and very protective of the device. One criticism that I have would echo the comments of one of the other reviewers in that the "denim" color that appears in the pics on the website in actuality is more grey in appearance. I love the color actually but it's not as blue as one would believe. One other thing, if you have headphones with a fairly bulky connector like I do, I had no issues fitting it to the headphone jack. I'd had issues with other cases not accommodating my Shure earphones without an adapter. The fit and finish of this case is excellent and I would highly recommend this case to anyone with the G3.

Screen Scratching

It would be a little nicer if the clear screen supplied with the otter box was a little more durable. It scratches a little too easily. All other aspects of this product are excellent.
