2nd Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 2nd microwave bought from Frigidaire in 3 years. Remodeled my kitchen with high end appliances, but my builder recommended not to do that with the microwave. It was built end and the kit around the microwave. About 3 weeks ago it started popping when heating food. Called my builder and recommended buying the same oven because it would not cost anything for a new kit. I did and it is fine. There isn't anything I can say about the oven, except it didn't last long.

Just stopped heating!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this microwave when we purchased our new home. It was a package of Frigidaire appliances. We have really liked using it but it just stopped heating. It comes on, turntable goes around and light comes on but no heating the food. It has been used less than 3 years. Just thought appliances should last longer than that. Now wondering whether to replace with a new one or try to have this one repaired if possible. Very disappointing!

No Parts Available

This microwave came with the appliance package that was installed in my home. The Microwave is 3 years old hand has stopped heating. I took it to my local appliance repair shop and was told that they don't make replacement electrical parts for it. So i am now trying to find one that will fit in the space this one was in.

Waste of Money!!

Our microwave came with a new home and we had to replace the first one after a year. The first one was replaced a year ago and now the replacement microwave is not heating either! And of course the warranty is only good for the first year. We will NOT be wasting anymore money on Frigidaire appliances... EVER!!

My 4th Frigidaire Microwave purchase in 8 years!!! This model is the only one that will fit. :-(

So, today, I'm buying my 4th one of these. First purchased in Aug. 2014, then again in Jan. 2017, again in Oct. 2017 and now No. 4 in Oct. 2022. Only one of these was reimbursed under warranty. Unfortunately for me, this microwave is the only one I can find that will fit in my built-in cubby.

two dead in 2 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave came with my newly built house Just after 7 months the microwave stop working. I was under warranty and it got replaced. The second one dies just when the warrany expired. That is two dead in just about 2 years. I don't recommend Frigidaire Microwaves.

Terrible Product

terrible product. The builder used this product at after 2 years it died. It has also been discontinued so even if I wanted to replace it with another one to match the rest of my appliances I can not. I will not be looking at Frigidaire for a replacment.

Not heating

This microwave came with our brand new home we purchased 6 months ago. It has never worked well as it would turn itself off after heating something for 1 minute. That continued for 4 months and now it spins and lights up and does everything it should, except for it heating up. That’s right, there’s zero heat that is emitted. I’ve called customer service over 5 times over the span of 3 days and they’ve yet to resolve my issue. They are saying it can’t be repaired and that it’s going to need to be replaced so they have to send me an email with instructions on how to go about getting a replacement. I’ve now waited for days and each time I call I get the same response “check your email in 30min-1 hour!for the email. So far, it hasn’t come so I have to call back each time. It’s the holiday season and we have guests coming to stay in our new home with a microwave that doesn’t work. You really don’t realize how dependent you are of a microwave until you have one that’s not functional (and it’s built in so we are stuck with having to try to get the same one so it’ll fit perfectly). It’s a shame that Frigidaire makes it so difficult to correct their malfunctioning equipment.
