This phone is a really good phone overall. I have had many phone and this is one of the best. The only thing I would change is the mobile web....If it was more like a format for this certain phone....over all it is awsome
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, handy
Cons: mobile web

good basic phone, stupid calendar

I did not feel like paying the full data charge for a smart phone, as I use the phone for internet only occasionally. It is slow on the internet but gets the job done.
It has some nice features, like accepting voice commands.
When you use the calendar to put in an event date, you get 3 wheels for day, month and year. No clue what day of the week you are working with. There's a reason most devices show something similar to a printed calendar page: it works!! Hopefully Samsung will offer a better calendar in a future software upgrade.
Pros: Bright display, solid feel
Cons: bad calendar
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my phone except for the ease of hitting the wrong buttons when removing from pocket or purse. I tend to hang up on people more than not. That is SO FRUCTRATING!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: too easy to hit the wrong buttons!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I actually like the phone, I just don't understand why my wallpaper keeps changing. I would like to keep the picture of my grandsons on top and it keeps disappearing
Cons: Did not meet expectations

No iPhone wannabe - Constant Reboots
on March 2, 2011

Got this as a cheap alternative to an iPhone. All I wanted really was a phone/music player with a bit of web browsing. It does all those things but none well.
Example 1: you can't play more than 3 songs without the phone (soft) rebooting. Then you have to hard reboot (turn off/on) for the phone to read the SD card again (which is where the music is stored).
Example 2: the browser is horrible and slow. Can't wait till I can upgrade.
Using it a phone is fine. But that's it.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, reboots a lot, terrible browser, slow web surfing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Compact and functional, but difficult to work

I needed an upgrade from my BB Storm 2 due to the screen freezing and purchased this to cover me until my upgrade was due. Knowing that Samsung makes great products I purchased this one, boy was I wrong.
All I can say is that I have more dislikes than likes of the phone.
While the phone layout is nice, compact and has a good keyboard, the touch panel is way too sensitive the customizing of the phone is horrible.
I can't get live mail to the phone without opening a program, everything I need to do other than make a call, text or take a photo takes several steps.
I'm a simple person who like an easy OS and this is not. Maybe for a younger person who is more technological in tune with phones, but this was a mistake for me.
As soon as I can afford another phone I'll be purchasing a different one.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, terrible os, touchscreen too sensitive
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
